The AEIS Primary 2/3 Mathematics test comprises two parts. Applicants will be given 30 minutes to complete Part 1 and 1 hour and 20 minutes to complete Part 2. The use of calculators is not allowed.

The AEIS Secondary Mathematics test comprises two parts. Applicants will be given 30 minutes to complete Part 1, and 1 hour and 45 minutes to complete Part 2. The use of calculators is not allowed.
新加坡AEIS考试录取通过率一般在60%—65%，相比较新加坡o/a水准考试的录取通过率，新加坡AEIS考试的录取通过率还是很高的。
新加坡AEIS考试录取率比较高的原因：
1、新加坡AEIS考试只考两门：数学和英文。相比之下，中国学生的数学基础普遍很好，成绩一般能在80-90分甚至满分，但不能松懈的是，数学考试题目都是英文，应当着重英语培训，避免读题时粗心大意而导致最终成绩不理想。英文才是学习的重中之重，需要学至少五到十个月可以达到入学标准。提前做足准备，想通过AEIS考试并不难；
2、新加坡AEIS考试的内容是从小学到初中，针对国内的应试教育内容而言国内的教育内容还是比较领先的，考试内容也相对简单。
3、与学生的年龄有关，学生年龄小，环境适应能力很强，接受能力也会更强一点，这也是一个不可忽视的重要原因。
注意事项及误区解答
只有通过AEIS考试的国际生才可以去到新加坡政府中小学读书，但家长及学生需要注意的是：学生不能选择学校，因为最终就读的学校得由教育部来决定~（分配学校的参考依据是根据学生的考试成绩以及学校名额空缺等因素来决定的）。
所以家长们大可不必为不能选学校而纠结。新加坡的每所政府中小学教育质量都是过硬的，不存在野鸡学校这一说。只要学生能够成功被学校录取，就在可以校园里安心学习啦！
