Tempe High School caters to individual talents and abilities by providing a high quality education through our selective, enrichment and comprehensive streams. Our dedicated, enthusiastic, caring teachers and support staff provide innovative academic, sporting and cultural programs. Well-resourced computer laboratories and excellent career enhancement opportunities, including strong links with University and TAFE, equip our students for future success.
We work in close partnership with our parents and community to make Tempe High School a welcoming and friendly school. Our peer support, pastoral care and mentoring programs ensure our students build social skills, feel cared for and valued in school and their wider community.
Tempe High School is well serviced by transport links. We are located between Tempe and Sydenham Railway Stations and on both government and private bus routes. We are proud of our tradition in providing a quality education based on excellence, innovation and opportunity that caters to every student.
Sport and physical activity is a valued and accepted part of our school's curriculum, contributing to the development of the whole child. It provides a vehicle for social, physical, emotional and moral learning and is an important expression of our culture.
The participation, enjoyment and skill development of our students is the corner-stone of the school sport/ physical activity program. All our students take part in this program.
